Questions based on the abstract and paragraph 1
2. How does the writer suggest that the mechanisms of music can help develop empathy?
(Make sure you read to the end of par 1!!!)
The writer suggests that when creating music, playing or singing in tune with one another it creates empathic behavior as one is feeling with other people. Music-making can contribute to the development of empathy through its distinctive learning processes and connections with others.
3. What do you think? Do you think music can increase empathy?
I think music can increase empathy. Music is a way of expressing one’s feelings and opinions and the more people sing and create music together, they understand that there are similarities between each other and this creates empathy for others. Singing about a certain political decision or love creates empathy for others.
